Count Your Winners Before You Play
Before you touch a card as declarer, take a moment to count your sure tricks — tricks you can win without relying on luck.
Knowing how many tricks you already have helps you decide whether to play safely or take risks. If you already have enough tricks to make your contract, there’s no need to gamble.
